An Introduction to Your Life In Christ
Welcome
The most important decision you can make is choosing to live in right relationship with GodJesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”John 3:16 NKJV, through His Son Jesus Christ. That is God’s plan and desire for your life.
When you accepted Christ, you began a new life as a believer in Jesus.Christ died for all so that those who live would not continue to live for themselves. He died for them and was raised from the dead so that they would live for him. If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new! All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself, and God gave us the work of telling everyone about the peace we can have with him.(emphasis added)2 Corinthians 5:15,17-18 NCV When you declared faith in your Savior, Jesus Christ, you became a child of the Kingdom of God — both now and for eternity.
Learning About Your Life in Christ
God wants a personal relationship with you, so He can teach you how to trust Him. You
will learn God is always relevant in your life, and He desires to meet your needs. By experience, you find there is always something more to learn from Him — something newThrough the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”(emphasis added)Lamentations 3:22-24 NKJV, something moreSo I bow in prayer before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth gets its true name. I ask the Father in his great glory to give you the power to be strong inwardly through his Spirit. I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love — how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God.(emphasis added)Ephesians 3:14-19 NCV, something from Him.The Scriptures say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his Spirit, . . . But people who aren’t Christians can’t understand these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means. We who have the Spirit understand these things, . . . for we have the mind of Christ.(emphasis added)1 Corinthians 2:9,10,13-16 NLT God just keeps teaching more, loving more, and giving more, because that is who He is.

Dear God,
Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me a new life in Jesus. I am overwhelmed to think You love me so much. You know all about me, and still want to be close to me. You want to be my Friend.
Lord, please help me learn how to live in Your Kingdom. I want to be in Your presence and enjoy the life You planned for me.
Holy Spirit, help me understand what I read in the Bible. And please bring people into my life who love God’s Word, people who will help me learn more about what You want to do in my new life. Thank You.
Amen
