A Final Word From Your Teachers

Well done! You completed the course Your Life In Christ. What is your next step? Jesus gave the answer in the following Scripture, when He said these words just before going to the cross to die for our sins:

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. . . . If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. . . . I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

John 15:5-12 NIV

Three days later, Jesus rose from death to give you hope and victory through His life. The answer to “What is the next step?” is simple and depends on you living with Him and in Him. Jesus commands you to “bear much fruit” and “love others.” Think about what this means in your life and to the people around you. Bear much fruit. Love each other.

Apart from me you can do nothing.

Lord, help me grow every day, and be faithful as You are faithful. You are always with me. I want to be gentle with others as You are gentle with me. Jesus, help me honor You in what I say and do and think. I need more of You. Oh, how I love You. Let my life bring You glory, for You are worthy of all praise and glory and honor.
